Stevensville Playhouse is a local volunteer theatre group located in the oldest town in Montana. Seating is limited at the Playhouse so you want to get your tickets as soon as you hear about a performance. While you’re at the site check out The Monthly Grind—family oriented entertainment every 3rd Saturday during the fall/winter. Bring a dessert to share and get in free to the Grind. Theatre Beyond the Bitterroot
Philipsburg’s Opera House Theatre Company performs in its beautifully renovated 1891 building, rotating three shows, Thursday through Sunday, beginning in June and concluding in September. Productions for 2014 are Wife Begins at Forty, Current Economic Conditions, and Vaudeville Variety Show.

I haven’t used it at this venue, but we did snag some hot tickets for a Giants game—with parking—for far less than we would have paid otherwise. Then again, I just looked at some of the tickets for Griz at-home games, and you may pay through the nose. How bad do you want to see those Griz play?
