Adult Education is offered at all the Valley schools and at the Univeresity. The variety of courses is amazing. Check them out.
Bitterroot Literacy offers adults the opportunity to learn how to read and do math, and then move on to earn their GED if they desire. This is accomplished through free one-on-one tutoring. If you know of someone who would be interested, put them in touch with the program. The office is located located in Suite 156, Human Resource Council Building, 316 North Third Street, Hamilton. Corvallis offers Adult Ed (Continuing Ed) classes for a flat fee of $25 ($12.50 for those 60 and older) unless otherwise indicated. Some courses have a materials fee or a materials list. Fees for materials are in addition to tuition fees. Courses are offered in a wide range of interests–fitness, computers, wood carving, photography, and the list goes on. Darby offers a wide variety of classes. Student fees are calculated by classroom hour, with every hour of instruction costing $2 for regular students or $1 for students age 60 or older. Classes meet in Darby, Sula, at the Job Corps and other locations.

Stevensville offers courses on a first-come first-served basis, with a minimum of 8 needed for a course. For more information you can call 777-5481 extension 137.

MOLLI courses, from the University of Montana, are offered in the fall, winter, and spring on campus, and run for 6 weeks. Registration is open for the winter term, and classes begin January 23rd. Courses are varied and lecturers top-notch. They also have a wonderful summer program for grandparents and grandchildren.
Lifelong Learning Center in Missoula gives classes in everything from photography, home brewing, dance, computers to business/career and GED.
